A Bristows Super Puma EC25 has declared an emergency mid flight while on way to a North Sea platform. The Helicopter has doubled back on itself and looks to be returning to base.

We are waiting for a response from Bristows and are monitoring the Helicopters progress back to base.

The incident is happening just as we are waiting for the final report from the 2013 CHC helicopter crashin Shetland to be released by the AAIB.
