Energy Institute Showcases New Toolbox Talk HSE App at Offshore Europe
Incident lessons and safety insights from leading oil and gas companies are being made freely available to frontline workers through Toolbox, an innovative new web-based app was demonstrated by the Energy Institute (EI) at Offshore Europe 2019 in Aberdeen.
Developed by the Energy Institute (EI), Toolbox is a free to use, web-based app, that allow users to access health and safety information in bitesize and video formats.
Featuring content based on real life incidents, Toolbox has been created in partnership with several leading global oil and gas companies, and can be accessed on the go through the web-based app.

Toolbox allows users to browse over one hundred case studies and safety information, with content classified by work activities or by high risk situations. Content can also be saved for quick access, as well as viewed offline when users have no internet connection.
The EI is a leading provider of technical publications covering health, safety, environment, fuel quality and distribution. These include good practice guidance, test methods, measurement manuals, conferences and workshops.
