Babcock Wins Two North Sea Contracts
Babcock has today announced they have won two new contracts for the provsion of North Sea helicopter flights. They issued the below statement:
We are please to confirm that Babcock Offshore has scooped two new contracts for North Sea helicopter operations.
The work will see us continue and expand aviation support operations with Oil and Gas operators Total and CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNOOC Limited.
Total selected our bid to continue operations in their Culzean field for an additional 12 months, adding an extra S-92 helicopter to Total’s established flight operations.
We will also add an extra S-92 to CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited’s established flight operations in support of activity in the Central North Sea and West of Shetland.
Babcock’s Director Offshore, Simon Meakins, said: “There is great potential for continued development in the North Sea and we are seeing some really positive moves here.
