One Down in Weekly Offshore Rig Count
The U.S. offshore rig count dropped by one unit from last week’s count and by 9 rigs year over year, Baker Hughes, an oilfield services provider, has said in its latest weekly rig count report.
BHI Rig Count: U.S. -11 to 420 rigs
U.S. Rig Count is down 11 rigs from last week to 420, with oil rigs down 11 to 332, gas rigs down 1 to 87, and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 1.
U.S. Rig Count is down 485 rigs from last year at 905, with oil rigs down 347, gas rigs down 135, and miscellaneous rigs down 3.
The U.S. Offshore rig count is 25, down 1 from last week, and down 9 rigs year over year.
BHI Rig Count: Canada -3 to 37 rigs
Canadian Rig Count is down 3 rigs from last week to 37, with oil rigs down 2 to 10, gas rigs down 1 to 26, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.
Canadian Rig Count is down 42 rigs from last year at 79, with oil rigs down 7, gas rigs down 36, and miscellaneous rigs up 1.
