Harkand Group Goes Under with up to 1000 Job Losses
Oil and Gas People has learned that the Harkand group has gone into administration. The companies website has gone offline and an answer machine message playing at the companies HQ in Aberdeen confirms that the Harkand Group and several of subsidiary companies are in administration.
The broken message dated May 4th lists the names of several individuals that have been appointed administrators and directs all creditor enquiries to Deloitte.

ISS HR Services Ltd
Oil and Gas People has been unable to contact anyone within the company for more information but from previous information the company employed around 1000 people between London, Aberdeen, Houston, Mexico and Ghana.
Harkand provided subsea capabilities and services to the energy industry including multi-purpose dive support vessels, ROVs, inspection, diving, survey, project management and engineering.
