Faroe Petroleum Makes Multi Million Pound Oil Discovery in the North Sea
It was confirmed today by Faroe Petroleum that an oil and gas discovery was made in its Brasse field in the North Sea.
The firm state that its side-track well was drilled to a depth of 2,530m (MD) and encountered a 25 metre gross oil column and a 6 metre gross gas column.
The estimated total of recoverable hydrocarbons is estimated between 43 to 80 million barrels of oil.
