Abrado Wellbore Services Expands into North Sea, UK Market
Abrado announced today that it has opened new operations in Aberdeen, Scotland, to expand its global presence. The new office in Aberdeen will be composed of sales and engineering resources, with downhole video and proprietary Medusa cutting technology equipment to support a growing customer base.
Leading the UK office will be industry veteran John Donachie, as International Commercial Director. Donachie has a broad and deep international technical and managerial experience developed through a career with CAMCO, Schlumberger, Helix-RDS and Omega Completion Technology. His technical experience covers wellbore equipment design, manufacture, commercialization, and operational delivery. Donachie also brings extensive global commercial experience through senior leadership roles with Pareto Securities and Simmons & Company where he focused on strategic advisory, commercial and technical due diligence and technology financing and merger and acquisition transactions for a broad range of oilfield service companies and energy specialist private equity and venture capital companies. Donachie holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aberdeen University.
