Subsea 7 Commences Staff Consultations prior to Making Cuts
The company earlier this year revealed plans for global resizing and reduction and is expected to cut as much as 430 of its UK jobs by the end of 2017 Q1.
The company is expected to cut over 200 of its Aberdeen jobs after an announcement made in July.
It comes amid reports that Subsea 7 has yet to lease out its West Campus in Aberdeenshire almost a year after it began moving staff to free up the asset.
With Subsea 7 currently employing 1500 staff in the UK the cut of 430 is close to one third of its workforce.
The company who have already cut 1200 jobs aims to further reduce its headcount by early 2017.
